Sale Agreed

Wow, can't believe it's been a whole month since my last post. Anyway, we accepted an offer on our house last week. We got £10K over the asking price and in total have made £90K over the past 2 years! Not too bad, eh?? The buyers are looking to progress rather quickly with the sale and have set a target completion date of the 29th of June, dependent on everything going smoothly this should be fairly realistic.

But since our new house won't be ready until October/November, this causes a bit of bother. Ollie's great Aunt offered to let us stay with her, but we'll have to see. She's 87 this year and we don't want to cause her any stress. In saying that, we would save a heck of a lot of money over the next few months and every penny will help us get the house sorted out.

Other news- we're off to Majorca on Saturday for a week of rest and relaxation in the sun. Well, hopefully it's sunny- weather reports have been less than encouraging.
